About Us

Ungulla Country Garden is a large country garden on a working Murray Grey stud cattle farm in West Gippsland, one hour from Melbourne near Drouin township.

The homestead, farm and garden have been designed around the practice of ethical animal husbandry, regenerative landscaping and sustainable organic practices in the garden and farm, providing a haven for a large variety of bird life and native animals.

The garden is filled with natives and exotics chosen for their hardiness as well as beauty. Ungulla boasts stunning views towards the Strzelecki Ranges framed by century old eucalypts standing majestically throughout the property. There are many interesting features in the garden, including old farm equipment mixed with quirky garden art complementing a large organic food garden and orchard.

Vicky’s many years gardening experience and passion for sharing her knowledge extends to working in the community as Open Garden & Event coordinator for Gardivalia Festival of Gardens in Gippsland and talking to community and garden groups on all aspects of gardening, while Mikes passion for farming stud beef cattle is reflected in the many ribbons won at shows throughout Victoria.

A visit to Ungulla Country Garden is a great day out enjoying the fresh country air, beautiful surroundings and delicious country-baked produce.
